- אוּכָּם, אוּכָּמָאm. אוּכָּמָא, אוּכַּמְתָּא f. (אכם) black, dark-complected, freckled, ungainly. Targ. Lev. 13:31; a. fr.Pes.88a.M. Kat. 9b הוה ליה ברתא א׳ Ms. M. (ed. our w. omitted) had an ungainly (freckled) daughter; Sabb.80b. Git. 67b תרנגולתא אוּכַּמְתִּי a black (checkered?) hen. Ib. 68a אוכמא בחיורא a black spot on a white skin.
